Photos Released from NASA Taken by MESSENGER Mercury Probe

Published by caseyquinnwriter at 12:24 pm under Space Exploration Edit This

The MESSENGER probe just did its second flyby of Mercury and has relayed some spectacular photographs to NASA.  The new photos reveal portions of Mercury that had never been seen by humans before. In the pictures new craters can be seen that shoot out impressive webs in the terrain.  The high resolution color photos taken of Mars show that the planet is very drab with the majority of it appearing as shades of grey.  In fact some might think it resembles the moon quite a bit.  Both also are heavily pocked with craters.
